The Interviews tab gives you the source material behind reports, themes and comparisons. Use it to hear participant language directly, understand context and verify an interpretation.

Find and review an interview

Choose the participants

Filter by available profile fields, recruiting source, language or persona. Searching the transcripts lists the matching answers instead of the interviews; clearing the search brings the interview list back.

Read the conversation

Open a participant to see answers in sequence. Spoken answers include a transcript and recording; structured answers show the submitted value. On a computer, clicking a row opens the interview in a side panel, and Open at the end of the row opens it as a full page, except while interviews are waiting for your review. On a phone, tapping a row opens the full page.

Check the original evidence

Play the recording when tone, exact wording or transcription accuracy matters. Citations can take you directly from a report or agent answer to the relevant source.
A completed interview may also include a synthesis organized by research objective. The same Interview and Synthesis reader is available when you open an interview from Recruitment, the Research Agent or a persona citation. Its floating selector changes the text below while the recording stays visible. Use the synthesis to orient yourself, then open the relevant answers before quoting or drawing a conclusion.

Read in another language

An interview recorded in another language reads in the study’s report language. When translations exist, a language menu beside the Interview Transcript title shows what participants actually said (Original) or another translation the study holds. Your choice is remembered in this browser and also sets the default subtitles until you pick subtitles yourself. Each translated answer names the language it was translated from and can show its original beneath it; Outdated translation marks one whose original was edited after it was translated. Use the original and the recording when exact wording matters. Review quality safeguards before interpreting a cohort. Continue with Question analysis, the Research Agent or Exports.
