# Interviews and transcripts

> Open a participant record, play recorded answers, review transcripts and filter the interview list.

The **Interviews** tab gives you the source material behind reports, themes and comparisons. Use it to hear participant language directly, understand context and verify an interpretation.

## Find and review an interview

    Filter by available profile fields, recruiting source, language, tags or
    persona.

    Open a participant to see answers in sequence. Spoken answers include a
    transcript and recording; structured answers show the submitted value.

    Play the recording when tone, exact wording or transcription accuracy
    matters. Citations can take you directly from a report or agent answer to
    the relevant source.

A completed interview may also include a synthesis organized by research objective. Use it to orient yourself, then open the relevant answers before quoting or drawing a conclusion.

Use the current transcript and original recording when exact wording matters. Translated subtitles make recordings accessible to colleagues working in another language.
