# Import existing research

> Bring reports, presentations and other existing research into Verso as context for your next study or analysis.

Verso can use research collected elsewhere as context. Upload a PDF, Word document (.docx) or PowerPoint presentation (.pptx) to your organization's **Documents** library, then attach it to a Research Agent conversation. This works well for previous study reports, discussion guides, desk research and stakeholder material.

For an online article, save it as a supported file or paste the relevant text into the conversation. Focus on the material that matters to your question so the agent can connect it clearly to your analysis.

## Use existing research across your workflow

The Research Agent can compare an uploaded report with current participant evidence, identify questions for further analysis or help prepare a stakeholder deliverable. The Study Design Agent can use the same material to shape objectives, sections and questions for a new study.

Uploaded files provide reference context. They do not recreate the original study's participants, interviews, findings or report structure inside Verso.
