The Study Design Agent brings a broad methodological foundation and a library of study templates crafted by qualitative researchers to your brief. It helps you shape a study around the decision you need to make, from exploring a category to testing a concept or understanding a customer experience. ## Research expertise, adapted to your brief Describe your objectives, audience and context, or [attach existing research](/exploring/importing-research) such as a guide, report or presentation. The agent draws on this material, its methods and templates to propose a relevant interview structure, neutral questions and purposeful follow-ups. Refine the draft in conversation and review it directly in the study editor. ## What it can help with * Draft a business question and research objectives from a brief. * Build or revise interview sections. * Improve opening questions, probing guidance, and selected interviewer settings. * Adapt a study template to your audience and research objectives. For example: "Add a section that explores what would make shoppers choose a refill pack. Keep it open-ended and allow two follow-up questions." ## You approve the work Suggested fields are marked in the editor. **Accept** keeps a suggestion, **Reject** restores the previous value, and editing the field keeps your own wording. A study cannot move into **Live** while suggestions remain unreviewed. On a study that is already live, suggestions are written into the current study and may reach participants before review. Avoid using the assistant during active fieldwork unless you intend to change the interview. The assistant cannot move a study to Live or confirm a change that affects questions already answered by completed interviews. See how changes are reviewed and recorded.
